After East Africa, Veronafiere will set out to conquer one of the most interesting markets in Central Africa, Cameroon. For the first time, a delegation of Italian entrepreneurs, under the aegis of Veronafiere, in the construction machinery and marble sector, will lead an economic mission in the two most important cities of the country, starting on Tuesday, October 17th.
The Italian mission will take place in two stages with activities in Yaoundé and Douala: B2B meetings with professional operators (partners, potential distributors / buyers) and field visits to companies, institutions and local authorities.
Veronafiere explains that Cameroon’s choice is linked to its stability, a dynamic private sector and a diversified economy. Moreover, the country enjoys a strategic position as the gateway to neighboring landlocked countries (Chad and the Central African Republic). Going through Cameroon, the Italian group aims to reach a market of 300 million potential consumers in the Cemac area.
In addition, Veronafiere notes that the construction sector will experience a boom in Cameroon next year thanks to the African Cup of Nations football that will host the country in 2019. The Group intends to bring its expertise in the construction of social housing, hotels, stadiums, shopping centers, etc.
