Cassava producers in the Ogandi locality in the Central Region of Cameroon will receive financial support from the Cameroon High Commission for South Africa as part of their A cassava processing unit.
This promise was made to them by Cameroon’s High Commissioner for South Africa, Zanele Makina. It was on July 18, 2017, on the occasion of the Nelson Mandela Day celebration.
In other words, the South African diplomat will make available to producers the 10% representing the required share (FCFA 48 million), so that the project carried out by these producers will benefit from the financing of the Investment and Development Project (Pidma), financed to the tune of 50 billion CFA francs by the World Bank.
