The 6th edition of the international business meeting PROMOTE , which officially opened on February 11th, ended on February 19th at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. PROMOTE, which is still defined as the big companies’ fair, is a real gold mine in terms of partnership opportunities, investment opportunities and, above all, a more global and open approach to business-to-business (B2B).
CAC International was able to stand out by sponsoring themed cocktails introduced by the investment promotion agency (API) in the meeting room throughout the week. From February 12th and 18th, daily themes were developed by experts from the public and private sectors selected and prepared in advance on the approach of their presentations. The presentations generally ended with a question and answer (Q&A)session, which allowed the participants to contribute more or ask questions to the panelists according to the theme.
The PROMOTE meeting service also played its role of mediator between the decision-makers in the company for a contact and even more during the B2B meetings. You could also observe spontaneous B2B meetings in the exhibition room between exhibitors. Needless to say, even if the show itself has closed its doors, business interactions and potential partnerships are expected to take place very soon.
